God Is Love (John 17:20-26 & Romans 5:1-8)

This Sunday we start a new series called 'God is...' based on the second half of the book by Adam Ramsey called 'Truth on Fire'. Last year around this time we explored key truths about the nature of God, in particular the attributes that make him 'God' – his transcendence, his sovereignty as creator, his 'present everywhere' nature, his unlimited knowledge and his intrinsic goodness. This year we will reflect on the topics in the second half of the book, which are the characteristics that are still intrinsic to who God is, but that he calls us to share it - his love, his patience, his mercy, his justice, his happiness and his confidence.
